Promo video for inaugural Spring 2013 Cohort:
Deadline: December 20, 2013
We take our Apprentices and give them free trainings, to get them prepared for paid internships with local startup companies eager to work with new talent. We’ll train you in the top technologies sought after by startup companies, and the best practices of Agile software development methodology. And all high-performing students will be matched with paid internships at startups.
During the internship period, we’ll supervise you as you work on real products for real companies here in Connecticut, and make sure that you learn by doing.
Because there is no substitute for real-world experience, gained “on the job.”
Apply to join our program if you are:
- A working software developer eager to deepen your knowledge or mentor our Apprentices
- A Computer Science or Engineering graduate interested in pursuing a new career at a startup
- A Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in CS, EE, Math, or a related discipline interested in building real-world skills to find a fruitful job after graduation
- A potential Partner Company eager to find new technical talent (Partner Company application)
Paid Work Opportunities
By applying for the A100 program and getting selected as an Apprentice, you’ll be eligible for our training series in January and February. If you perform well in the trainings, you’ll be eligible for a paid internship with a local startup, with the potential for a full-time job as a software developer after.
